I used it in an apple curry recipe and loved it. I think this blend works well with fruits for one thing plus is not too fiery.. I plan to buy a bigger packet when what I have is exhausted.
I received the spices as samples for writing recipes. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. they were packaged very well. When I opened the curry powder packet, oh my! it smelled like our "mole uncle's spice shop". great job! I would be proud to recommend the products to anyone as "Sri Lankan spices".
This was my first time making a Sri Lankan style chicken curry. Everything I read said to make my own curry blend but I knew this would be the next best thing. The curry was so warm, cozy and comforting. The spice blend seemed to be a perfect balance. We tend to make a lot of green curry or use Madras curry powder so it is nice to have another healthy but comforting meal to go to.
