Masala Chai
Pre-order only. Ships in two weeks.
This is one of our most popular products. Our masala chai is made with handpicked Ceylon black tea blended with single-source ground ginger, Ceylon cinnamon sticks, whole cardamom, whole cloves, and a hint of nutmeg. Absolutely no sugar added!
And also, let's be honest. Saying "chai tea" sounds like nails against a chalkboard to us. The name's Chai — Masala Chai. "Masala" means spice, "chai" means tea. Masala chai = spiced tea. Geddid?
"It’s the most delicious tea I’ve ever had in my life! Thank you. What a treat!" — Sarah Jordan, MD
Sizing
Not sure which size to get? Our 1.25 oz makes about 12-15 steaming cups of chai and 3.5 oz makes about 35-40 cups. Curl up with a good book on a rainy day or throw a chai party!
Preparation
We recommend 1 tsp of our blend for one cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes, then add your favorite milk and sweetener. Make sure to stir the bag and scoop from the bottom to get a nice dose of ground ginger, which may be resting on the bottom of the bag.
If you want to get really fancy (and do it like we do), add 1/2 cup of whole milk, 1/2 cup of filtered water and 1 tsp of masala chai blend into a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil on the stove. Immediately take off heat, cover and let steep for five minutes. Strain and don't skimp on the sugar — it's what will take this over the finish line.

Hi Sakinah, Thank you for your review! As you know, all carriers were experiencing major delays during the holiday rush due to the pandemic and high demand. As a small business, we are dependent on their services. We have sent you an email to explain further.
We created a Holiday Chai Eggnog with the Masala Chai as the base flavor. Made with coconut and almond milk, it's a great vegan treat.
I admit that I liked this chai much more than I thought I would. I enjoy the individual spices in chai in my food, but I don't always like to 'drink' them as in tea they sometimes create a gritty, overpowering texture. Instead, I found this blend to be a little more subtle, yet still full of flavor balanced by the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and others. A hearty tea for a cool fall day, I recommend this chai for those who like a more delicate brew.
Beautifully aromatic tea. I steep for five minutes, then stir in 2 tablespoons of creamer and pinch of sugar (from the bottom of a crystallized ginger bag for extra zing). It's a lovely pick-me-up and get-me-going in the mornings.
